AARC member Christy Thomas, RRT, was featured in an article on the University of Alabama at Birmingham website about an award-winning project at Children’s of Alabama that significantly reduced unplanned extubations in the PICU. The project established a new position, the PICU quality improvement respiratory therapist, which Christy has assumed. Read it Here
