Members Highlighted for New Training Centers, Awards, and Leadership

AARC member Chief Master Sergeant James Woods, MAE, BSRT, RRT, was featured in an article in the Cincinnati Enquirer about the opening of the Darrio Simulation Center at UC Health, which has been designed especially to train members of the Air Force Critical Care Air Transport teams. While “Darrio” stands for “dynamic and realistic research with immersive operations,” the center was also named in honor of Chief Master Sergeant Dario Rodriguez, a longtime AARC member who passed away in 2022. AARC member and ATS President-Elect Michelle Ng Gong, MD, MS, ATSF, was featured in a video on Instagram featuring her recent speech at the Stand Up for Science Rally in NYC. Watch it Here

AARC members Theresa Meinen, MS, RRT, and Dustin Goodman, RRT, RRT-NPS, were featured in an article on The 715 Newsroom website about the role Theresa played in advocating for Wisconsin’s participation in the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact. Wisconsin was one of the first states to pass the compact. Read it Here
