AARC members Jay Shedd, BBA, RRT, RRT-NPS, Hugh Mosley, RRT, RRT-ACCS, and Myra Stearns, MHA, RRT, RPFT, were featured in an article in the Coosa Valley News about how they worked together to access a backup high-frequency oscillatory ventilator (HFOV) when the two HFOVs at Jay’s hospital were already in use by critically ill newborns. AARC member Mindy Conklin, MRT, RRT-ACCS, RRT, RCP, had the opportunity to serve as the keynote speaker for the Georgia Society for Respiratory Care and as a speaker at the second annual Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
