Program Recognition and RTs Impacting the Classroom, and Neighbors

AARC members Grant Hosking, BS, RRT, RRT-ACCS, and Tiffany Scott, BSRT, RRT, RRT-ACCS, were featured in an article on the K2 Radio website about their RT program’s receipt of CoARC’s Distinguished RRT Credentialing Success Award for the seventh time overall and the second year in a row. AARC member Sydney Scott, MEd, BSRC, RRT, RRT-ACCS, received national recognition from the VHA for delivering CPR to a neighbor who went into sudden cardiac arrest. Sydney achieved a ROSC before paramedics arrived on the scene, resulting in a positive outcome for the nursing student and mother of four.

AARC member Tarji Russell-Chaffin, MS, BSRC, BSHE, was featured in an article in the Pine Bluff Commercial about her decision to take her medical skills into the biomedical sciences classroom at Dumas High School, where she was recently named a finalist for Arkansas Teacher of the Year.
