Learning Grants, New Programs, and Awards

AARC member Kristal Jones, BSRC, RRT, RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS, was featured in an article on KLVTNews.com, noting she will lead development on a $110,249.75 grant from the Division of Digital Learning at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to transform RSPT 2239: Advanced Cardiac Life Support into a no-cost, exam-aligned course in line with American Heart Association ACLS certification guidelines, National Board for Respiratory Care credentialing, and job placement. AARC member Chris Trotter, DEL, RRT, was featured in an article in the West Virginia Daily News, and AARC member Eric Rodgers, MBA, RRT, RRT-ACCS, was featured in an article on the WVU Medicine website, both covering an event at Princeton Community Hospital aimed at sharing information about the new respiratory care program at West Virginia State University.
