Respiratory Care is looking for a respiratory therapist intern to learn peer-review processes and other Journal activities. Interns will:
- Prepare CRCE questions and visual abstracts.
- Participate remotely in weekly staff meetings.
- Shadow editorial staff in the manuscript decision process.
- Assist editor-in-chief in editorial decisions as assigned.
- Prepare a paper for publication in Respiratory Care.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Journal activities.
Qualifications include:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum baccalaureate degree; graduate degree preferred
- Minimum five years of experience as a respiratory therapist
- Published in Respiratory Care or other peer-reviewed journals preferred
- Reviewer for Respiratory Care or another peer-reviewed journal preferred.
The intern must commit to eight hours/week for six months; either January to June 2027, or July to December 2027.
